Moving forward together - my chat with Adam Kahane
Adam Kahane is a Director of Reos Partners, an international social enterprise that helps people move forward together on their most important and intractable issues.
In the world of getting people to agree on how to move forward, even though they might not agree with each other, Adam Kahane is one of the world's best,
Some might know that he was the facilitator of the groundbreaking Mont Fleur South African scenarios in 1991 / 92 - where the likes of Trevor Manual, Tito Mboweni, trade unionists, business leaders and civil society gathered to map out the various futures of the South African economy before the country became a democracy.
In his new book, Facilitating Breakthrough: How to Remove Obstacles, Bridge Differences, and Move Forward Together - he outlines a few of his techniques and frameworks as well as some insights into his past experiences working with difficult groups.
I caught up with Adam to chat about the book - a recording of our chat can be found here.
