Free prize inside

Do you know why all Yuppiechef orders (every one since 2007) get sent out with a free fridge magnet? Because it's sad to get sent a parcel without 'a little something extra' inside of it. True story BTW.

Also...it makes sense (take note here accountants...'valuable business lesson' incoming) from a marketing perspective, to add a bit of a surprise to a delivery that is already going directly to your customer.

Small, unprompted gestures like this, can create a surprising bond between human beings.

Stickers from London's Corteiz

Stickers too are a seriously underutilised tactic, as are scratch cards.

These are all the things that get slashed and stripped out of a brand experience by financial people claiming that there is 'no way to measure their effectiveness'.

But not everything that is valuable is also measurable and giving a free prize inside is such a simple and affective brand building mechanic.

Thanks Corteiz.

Stickers are still highly impactful as a brand asset and remarkably ignored by most brands besides those trying to appeal to kids.
