I have been asked to help judge this year's Next Generation Foresight Awards.
The awards aim to recognise those helping to shape the future and improve lives through innovative strategic foresight.
The awards offer a lovely prize of US$15 000 (which is to go towards your project) and are open to applicants between the ages of 18 - 35; or those with less than ten years' experience as a foresight practitioner.
We're looking for foresight projects that promote community futures, sustainable futures, innovative methods of unlocking the future and foresight practices that deliver significant impact.
This is a fantastic international competition that in my opinion deserves to receive significant entries from sub-Saharan Africa. As a futures practitioner and somebody who focuses all of my work on delivering innovative solutions in partnership with my clients, I know just how much ingenuity and resilience many other practitioners in the local field have.
This is your chance to share your successes with the world and leverage that good work for the benefit of others around the world.
