Released in 2001 Eve's Let Me Blow Ya Mind, featuring none other than Gwen Stefani, is a classic track that is sure to get your nostalgia juices flowing.
If you don't think you know it, hearing just a few bars of the song will have you nodding your head furiously as the memories of some loose night on a table in a shady bar in Hermanus that involved way too much cheap sherry will come flooding back.
It also just so happens to be the ol' tune that TK Maxx (a discount retailer that people are also reluctant to admit that they frequent) have turned to for their Christmas 2023 campaign.
The ad is cute, but the track obviously makes it. We're obviously not against turning to a few shadier alternatives when it comes to buying gifts for members of the family we don't really like, or see very seldom, so TK Maxx serves an important purpose.
