The futures are all there is

There is nothing that you can do about the past.

It's done...over.

Replaying the past, having regrets, holding grudges...these are all pointless ways to occupy the present.

The only places that are available to be influenced are the multiple futures that could play out.

If we are to be completely honest and rational with ourselves, 'the futures' are all there is.

There is no point in thinking about anything else, because nothing else is as important.

The work that is done, the races already completed, the strategy already in play is of no concern.

All that matters is what you are building today in anticipation for tomorrow.
