Supreme inside a PIZZA EXPRESS
The loose brand collaboration was grimy and entirely perfect.
Supreme is one of those irreverent streetwear brands that seem to make just about everything that they choose to do, cool.
In Seoul, South Korea we came across a basement level PIZZA EXPRESS that doubled up as a Supreme outlet; and yet, nothing other than the pizzas appeared to be for sale.
The Supreme x PIZZA EXPRESS experience was complete with audaciously branded money guns on display right next to a working pizza oven and busy order post.
A wall adorned with kitsch skateboard decks, exposed electrical cabling, perished concrete floors...turrets of pre-used pizza boxes, ready for hot doughy discs oozing with melted cheese and canned meat.
The loose brand collaboration was grimy and entirely perfect.
We walked in because of curiosity, and left with even more questions. Which is perhaps exactly what this space was offering...a million tendrils of connection between these brands and any hapless street wanderer intrigued enough to happen upon the invitation to explore.
This was undoubtedly, Supreme's 'hype brand' label on full display.
