Roy Halston Frowick was an America fashion designer who rose to fame - and then lost it all.
Netflix have announced a great looking new mini-series, starring none other than Ewan McGregor, telling the story of Halston, which is set to premiere on the platform 14 May 2021.
The line from the trailer that stood out for us was; "I think once you call yourself a genius, you stop growing."
Somebody who is labeled as a genius is often put on a pedestal by society, a really unfortunate position to be in because from that high point, it is very difficult to make any mistakes from.
You stop learning, you stop exploring, you are forced into a very rigid, narrow position, which ultimately leads to collapse.
It looks like a great show.
