Surgeon helps Canada Goose reimagine their Glacier Trail shoe

It's always exciting when a luxury brand teams up with a dynamic creative studio to reimagine some of their classic products.

Canada Goose recently did just that - collaborating with LA-based sneaker designers Surgeon - giving their old Glacier Trail shoes a bit of a makeover.

Inspired by vintage outdoor gear, the reconstructed the Glacier Trail sneaker is a functional, stylish representation of the latest footwear innovation from Canada Goose infused with the style and craftsmanship of SURGEON.

Footwear News report:

Penny Brook, chief marketing and experience officer at Canada Goose, added that she’s proud to bring this collaboration to life. “We’re always striving to bring our community exciting new partnerships with of-the-moment designers and could not be happier with the latest installment we’ve brought to life with Surgeon,” Brook said.
Consumers can purchase a pair of limited-edition Canada Goose x Surgeon Glacier Trail sneakers online at Surgeon.com for a limited time only, while quantities last.

In the 80s, car brands used to create quite a buzz around the outlandish concept cars that they used to produce and then showcase at motor shows. The practice gave fans a glimpse of the future and showcased the design prowess of the companies.

Seems like the same philosophy is now infiltrating other organisations where exploring 'optimistic futures' is a part of engaging with customers on a deeper level.
